As part of Dis Orientation week she will be leading us in a seed saving workshop where we will learn about the basics of seed saving, why it is important and how to get started; hear about inspiring community seed projects such as Seedy Sunday, the Peterborough seed library and the urban seed saving garden; and find out what the Trent Vegetable Gardens, Trent Community garden and the Seasoned Spoon Café are doing right here on campus to build food self-sufficiency and the various ways you can get involved.
